Bayahibe
Enjoy at Bayahibe beach, in the Dominican Republic, and immerse yourself in its warm and crystalline waters. Hide in Bayahibe Beach, located southeast of La Romana, which is made up of strips of quiet and intimate beaches away from the crowds. Bordered by coconut and palm trees, the beach is located about two kilometers from the town where you will find restaurants and bars.
– More about the Bayahibe-
The charming little fishing village becomes quiet once tourists visiting the islands of Saona and Catalina depart from there, and the beach turns into a little Caribbean paradise.
Starting point for excursions to the islands, it is also famous for fishing and diving. It is also an excellent place for snorkeling. In the Caribbean waters of this beach you can see starfish, cuttlefish and stingrays. You can also visit the Captain Kidd shipwreck from there, on Catalina Island, or include it in the visit to the underwater museums, which include other shipwrecks in the area.
In case you want to stay in the town, it has several “all-inclusive” hotels, among them the Dreams La Romana, although there are some smaller hotels and aparthotels.
